The true mark of spirituality is when we desire to know and live
according to the Will of God as revealed in Scripture, and that
can be summarized as “Be Holy for I am Holy”.
1 Peter 1:15-16

Let's be careful not to spend our whole life looking for the
Will of God.  Instead, let's spend our life doing the Will of God.

"The Will Of God"

How we can know what the "Will of God" is for our lives?

We need to present ourselves to God - just talk to Him.
Tell Him... here's my life, here's my time, here's my
resources, here's my future...  I dedicate it all to
You, Lord.  Show me what You want me to do.

The Bible says to
"be not conformed of this
In other words, we are to be careful
not to let this world squeeze us into it's mold,
or pressure us to live for selfish motives.

The Bible also says to be "transformed by the
renewing of your mind".  What does that mean?
It means we are to fill our minds with the
things of God to build ourselves up spiritually.

In order to do this, we should study our Bible.
We need to involve ourselves with, and just learn
everything we possibly can about following God.

The point here is that we must surround ourselves, keep
our minds on, and fill our hearts with Godly things.

We must make it a way of life by striving to do only
what is pleasing to Him.  And when He sees that
we are really sincere, He will help us with this.

God will reveal His Will to us one step at a time if we commit
our ways to Him, as we strive to walk by faith, and as we
seek to apply everything with the principles of Scripture.

We need to run to Him every single day for forgiveness,
for guidance - TO FILL UP - to be refreshed!

Thank You, Lord...
For Your Mercies Are New Every Morning!

The Bible says that God's Will is good, pleasing and
perfect.  God's Will, first and foremost, is that we have
a relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus Christ!

I BESEECH you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of
God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy,
acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed
by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is
that good, and acceptable, and perfect, Will of God.
Romans 12:1-2

We can never know God’s Will apart from God’s
Word.  Wisdom is finding the timeless principles
from God’s Word and applying them to our life.

True worship occurs when a child of God listens
to the Word of God and is motivated by the
Spirit of God to obey the Will of God.

To worship God means to follow God in your
spirit and in truth.  It means to obey God.

The starting point for knowing the
Will of God is to know the Word of God.

The Knowledge of God comes from His Word.
Wisdom and understanding come from God’s Holy
Spirit.  God’s Spirit and His Word work together
to reveal the Will of God to us in our life.

The Spirit of God uses the Word of God to
reveal the Will of God so we can be conformed
into the image of God. There is a difference
in knowing God’s Word... and doing it.

The only reason to know God’s Will is so we can do it, so we
can conduct our life in a manner worthy of the Lord.  Success
is knowing the Will of God and doing it, to please Him in all
respects.  Our ambition and goal is to please God because
we all must appear before the judgment seat of Christ.
The real blessings of life come from obeying God.
