Why Do We Have Literally HUNDREDS of
Different English Bible Versions Today

When changes to God's Holy Word completely change the meaning
of the text, when Scriptures are completely removed, and when
there is a pattern of major words being consistently removed,
then as Christians, we must stop and ask ourselves what in the
world is going on here, as this constitutes something altogether
different than just "making the text easier for us to read.”  Right?

What you do with what you learn here is strictly between you and God.
It never matters what man thinks of you.  Just pray about it and see
what God would have you do, because in the end we're all going to find
out that that's all that ever really mattered anyway.  Remember, we
are commanded to "watch" so we will not be deceived".
 (1 Peter 5:8,
2 Corinthians 11:13;  2 Timothy 3:13;  Deuteronomy 11:16;  Matthew 24:11)

Have you ever been in a classroom where everyone was learning
and reading from a different book?  Of course not.  When I
was growing up, we COULD and we DID stand up in Church and
recite Scripture together, from our own BIBLES, in UNITY,
before God.  This is literally impossible in Churches today.

Why? Because everyone is reading from a different text!
Utter chaos and confusion would abound if we did not
have those big projection screens to read from.  Right?

The Bible tells us that God is NOT the author of confusion.
Satan has never stopped trying to counterfeit everything that
God does.  And who is the Father of All Lies?
(See John 8:44.)

With way over 300 different English versions alone on
the market today, and a new one coming out every six
months, it's hard to individually separate the True Word
of God from the counterfeits.

It's the evil one’s most subtle way of keeping Christians
"out of unity with one another" and to keep people discouraged
and confused when it comes to the True Message of Christ.

Now, don't freak out on me here.  I am not and have never
claimed to be a KJV Only Christian.  This is simply what I have
discovered in my studies, and all of us need to be aware of
what's going on today with all these new and different versions.

We know that the devil has been twisting God's Holy Word into
a lie every since the beginning of time.  In
Genesis 3:1-7 he tempted
Eve in the garden by turning the Words of God into a lie.  During
the temptation of Jesus in
Matthew 4:1-11 we see again where the devil
tried to achieve his purpose by taking God's Holy Word out of context.

The Bible tells us that the devil and his false prophets will come as angels
of light.  They will appear to be ministers of holiness, righteousness,
and truth, while they purposely twist and distort the Word of God
trying to deceive many.  And, yes, he is still busy deceiving many today!

The following verses are evidence that very clearly speak for themselves,
and therefore are not up for debate with me.  If you do your own study
on this, you will literally find thousands of examples, not only in the
versions below, but in other Bible versions and editions as well.

Don't Believe Me?

Examine the following evidence for yourself.  I think that what you find
will surprise you, just like it did me, as it has all been done so very subtly.
Without the slightest hesitation,
men just "correct" the Word of God

For example;  The NKJV claims to make the
"old" KJV much clearer by updating obsolete
(New King James Version, 1982e. p. 1235)

So, let's just take a look at the NKJV for a moment.

Okay, how about that obsolete word - "hell"?

NKJV removes the word "hell" 23 times.
And how do they make it much clearer?
By replacing hell with "hades and sheol".

Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary defines Hades as:
the underground abode of the dead in Greek Mythology."

By making it much clearer, they have turned your Bible
into mythology.  Not only that, but hades is not always
a place of torment or terror.  The Assyrian hades is
an abode of blessedness with silver skies called
Happy Fields.  In the satanic "New Age" movement,
Hades is an intermediate state of purification.

Now, you tell me, who in their right mind would think
hades or sheol is up-to-date and much clearer than hell?

(Job 11:8, Isaiah 5:14, Isaiah 28:15, Isaiah 57:9, Jonah 2:2
Matthew 11:23, Matthew 16:18, Luke 10:15, Luke 16:23
Revelation 1:18, Revelation 6:8, Revelation 20:13-14)

Then the NKJV decides that maybe "grave" should be "hades".
So the
NKJV makes 1 Corinthians 15:55 much clearer by changing
grave to hades... O hades, where is your victory?"  Huh???

Another one of those obsolete words is "repent".  They take it
out 44 times.  And how does the
NKJV make it much clearer?
Well, in
Matthew 21:32 they use "relent".  In Matthew 27:3 they
use "remorseful" and in
Romans 11:29 they change repentance to
"irrevocable".  Whew! I'm sure glad they cleared that one up for us!

The term "New Testament" is not in the
(Matthew 26:28, Mark 14:24, Luke 22:20
1 Corinthians 11:25, 2 Corinthians 3:6, Hebrews. 9:15)

The NKJV replaces "New Testament" with "new covenant".
This is an obvious assault on the written Word of God!
(ditto NIV, NRSV, RSV, NASV)

The words "damned and damnation" are not found in the
NKJV.  Instead, they make it much clearer by changing
it to "condemn".
 (ditto NIV, RSV, NRSV, NASV)

Condemned is no where near as serious as damned.
Damned is eternal!
One can be condemned and not damned.

Webster defines condemned as: "to declare to be wrong", but
the much more serious and eternal
damn as: "to condemn to hell".

Is it getting clearer now...  See how subtly this is all done?

The word "devils" and the singular person called "the devil", is
not in the
NKJV.  It has been replaced with the transliterated
Greek word "demon".
 (ditto NIV, RSV, NRSV, NASV)

The Theosophical Dictionary describes demon as:
it has a meaning identical with that of god, angel or genius".

Even Vines Expository Dictionary of Biblical Words
(p. 157)
defines demon as: "an inferior deity, whether good or bad".

Webster defines
demon as: "divinity, spirit, an attendant power
or spirit" - but devil as: "the personal supreme spirit of evil

Yep, they just zapped that old devil right out of there!

2 Timothy 2:15 the NKJV (and the NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV)
remove the obsolete word - "study".  The only time we're told
to study our Bible, and it's just gone!  Why don't they want
us to study our Bible?  Maybe they don't want us to look too
close because we might find out what they've actually done to it.

That old obsolete word "virtue" is replaced with "power" in
Mark 5:30,
Luke 6:19 and Luke 8:46.  How does anybody confuse virtue with power?
Simply by copying the
NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV.  Stupid is as stupid does.

Now, one of the most absurd changes ever made is changing the
word "servant" to "slave".  The
NKJV in Romans 6:22 reads:
"But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God..."

The NKJV calls the Christian, Christ's slave!  See 1 Corinthians 7:22.
Talk about a contradiction!
John 8:36 says, "If the Son therefore
shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."
 Christians serve in
love, not by slavery!
 Galatians 5:13 explains it perfectly:
"For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty
for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another."

Again, the meaning of the text has clearly been changed!

It seems that in order to harmonize with this "New Age"
(and again, the NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV), the
NKJV changes "end of the world" to "end of the age" and in
it no longer is
"the world to come", but "the age is to come".

The "New Age" movement teaches a series of ages.
(Matthew 12:32, Matthew 13:39-40, Matthew 13:49
Matthew 24:3, Matthew 28:20, Mark 10:30, Luke 20:34-35)

They are also longing for one called the "Maitreya".
The Bible calls him the "Anti-Christ".  New Agers
refer to him as the "Coming One" and so does
NKJV in Luke 7:19-20.  See also Matthew 11:3.

In the NKJV, John tells his disciples to ask Jesus:
"Are You the coming one..."

In the Great Invocation, (a prayer highly reverenced among new
agers and chanted to invoke the Maitreya), it says, "Let Light and
Love and Power and Death, Fulfil the Purpose of the Coming One."

Now for the icing on the cake, so to speak...  To really show their
sympathy with these New Agers, believe it or not, in
Acts 17:29
the NKJV changes "Godhead" to "Divine Nature".  (ditto NIV, NASV)

And if you think the NKJV just innocently updated the obsolete words,
removed the thee's and thou's - here's what the translators proudly
admit:  "It is clear that this revision
dropping of -eth endings, removing, thee's and thou's, and updating
obsolete words."

But first, let's examine God's Word
and see what HE has to say about it.

(2 Corinthians 11:14-15)
And no marvel: for Satan himself is transformed into an Angel
of light.  Therefore it is no great thing, though his ministers
transform themselves, as though they were the ministers of
righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works.

(Revelation 22:18-19)
For I protest unto every man that heareth the words of the
prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things,
God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book.

And if any man shall diminish of the words of the book of this
prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out
of the holy City, and from those things which are written in this book.

(Proverbs 30:5-6)
Every word of God is pure: he is a shield to those that trust in him.
Put nothing unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
Where did they go and WHY did they go

Changes we weren't supposed to notice, or what?

(Genesis 22:8)
Many versions change "...My son, God will provide him a lamb for
a burnt offering" to distort the prophesy that God would become
the Lamb. The counterfeits read as, "God will provide for Himself
the lamb..." or "God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt
offering".  The fulfillment of this verse is found in
John 1:29.

(Isaiah 14:12)
Most other versions confuse the Lord Jesus Christ with
Lucifer.  They replace the word "Lucifer" with "morning
star, day star, star of the morning".  Morning star is a title
reserved for the Lord Jesus in
Revelation 22:16.  This is also
the only time the word "Lucifer" is found in the Word of
God.  In
Isaiah 14:15 the counterfeits do not send Lucifer
to "hell" but only to the confusing "Sheol", or the "grave".

(Matthew 20:20)
Many modern versions remove the words "worshipping
him" and rob worship from our Lord Jesus Christ.  Some
replace "worshipping him" with "kneeling before" or
"kneeling before", but just "kneeling" is not worship.

(Matthew 26:28)
Many versions replace the phrase "new testament" with
the generic phrase "new agreement" or "new covenant".
This is an obvious attack on the written Word of God!

It’s interesting, even though the counterfeits remove
the phrase "new testament", they do not title their New
Testaments as "New Agreement" or "New Covenant".  Why?
The counterfeiters know they could not sell their counterfeit
bearing the title "New Agreement" or "New Covenant" on
the cover, so like any good counterfeiter, they disguise it.

(Mark 3:29)
The counterfeits change the serious consequences
of blaspheme against the Holy Ghost from "eternal
damnation" to "eternal sin" or "eternal condemnation".

(Luke 4:4)
Many versions remove the last half of  this verse,
"... but by every word of God".  This is another assault
on the Word of God.  In this verse, the Lord Jesus
Christ is quoting
Deuteronomy 8:3.  Do these counterfeiters
really believe the Lord Jesus does not know what it says?

(Luke 4:8)
Many modern versions remove the words "get thee
behind me, Satan".  Here the Lord Jesus Christ openly
rebukes Satan, but the counterfeits do not rebuke Satan.

(Luke 16:23)
Many modern versions refuse to translate the Greek word
"haides".  Rather than translate "haides" to the word "hell",
the counterfeit will transliterate the Greek word "haides" into
the English "hades".  By this trick the counterfeit attempts
to extinguish the flames of hell.  Hades is not "hell".

Hell is flames, torments, weeping and wailing, complete
darkness forever.  Hades is a new-age place of purification,
or a fantasy place in Greek mythology.  The Assyrian Hades
is an abode of blessedness with silver skies called Happy Fields.

(John 4:24)
Many counterfeits change "God is a spirit" to "God is spirit".
By removing the critical article "a", the counterfeits teach
an impersonal, formless, esoteric, new-age "spirit god".

(John 14:16)
Many counterfeits change the Holy Spirit from a loving,
concerned "Comforter" to simply another "Helper, Counselor".

(Acts 2:47)
Many counterfeits change the completed act of "saved" to
the working, in progress "being saved".  With this change,
the counterfeits deny the complete and finished salvation
in the blood of Jesus Christ to a progressive, salvation
by works.  You are no longer "saved" but in the process
of "being saved".
 (1 Corinthians 1:18; 2 Corinthians 2:15)

(Acts 4:27)
Many counterfeits abort the Lord Jesus Christ as the Father’s "holy
child" to His "holy servant".  A subtle and clever denial of the deity
of the Lord Jesus Christ.  The counterfeits do this again in
Acts 4:30.

(Acts 8:37)
Some modern versions completely remove this wonderful
(and several others).  Acts 8:37 is the Ethiopian eunuch
getting saved.  The counterfeits stop him from getting
saved.  Some counterfeits are a little more subtle. They
do not remove the verse from the text, but they add
a footnote questioning the verse, planting a seed of
doubt.  Sound familiar?  "Yea, hath God said...?"

(Acts 17:29)
The counterfeits change "Godhead" to the new age
doctrine of "Divine Nature" or "Divine Being".

(Romans 6:22)
Many versions demote Christians from the voluntary, loving
"servants of God" to cruel "enslaved" or "slaves of God".  The
counterfeits describe my Father as a "slave owner" and His
precious children as "slaves".  Oh how contrary and wicked to
the character of my loving and wonderful Heavenly Father!

This is done many times in the counterfeits.  It is amazing
because the first part of
Romans 6:22 reads "...being made free
from sin..." and according to the counterfeits we are now slaves!

(1 Corinthians 1:21)
Many versions change "...the foolishness of preaching... to
the "foolishness of what was preached" or "foolishness of the
message preached".  The deceitful counterfeits change the
object of "foolishness" from the act of "preaching" to the
"message" of preaching – the gospel of the Lord Jesus.

There’s nothing "foolish" about the "message" of our
Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!  It’s the greatest and
most reasonable message in the history of the universe!

1 Corinthians 1:18 shines some eye-opening light on the
counterfeiters.  It says "...the preaching of the cross is
to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are
saved it is the power of God."  It makes you wonder...
are the publishers of these counterfeits saved?

(1 Corinthians 6:9)
The counterfeits change the word "effeminate" to
"homosexual" or "male prostitutes".  This dilutes the
serious warning of just the appearance or mannerism
(effeminate) to just the sexual act of homosexuals.

(2 Corinthians 2:17)
The counterfeits change the word "corrupt the word of God"
to "peddling (or selling) the word of God".  An apparent attempt
by the counterfeiters to hide the fact they are "corrupting the
word of God".  It won’t work... God knows what they are doing.

(2 Corinthians 10:5)
The counterfeits change "imaginations" to "arguments"
or "obstacles" or "speculations".  This change lines the
counterfeits right up with the new age religion, because
the new age is built upon "imaging" and "imaginations".
It also removes the spiritual identification to where
sin originates in the first place – in our imaginations.

(Colossians 1:14)
Many counterfeits remove the phrase "through his blood".
Salvation is only "through his blood".  Without shedding
of blood, there is no remission of sins.
(Hebrews 9:22)

(1 Thessalonians 5:22)
The counterfeits change "all appearance
of evil" to "every form
(or kind) of evil".

(1 Timothy 3:16)
Many counterfeits change the crucial word "God" to the
unmodified, vague pronoun "he".  This is the clearest
verse in the Bible stating that Jesus Christ was "God
manifest in the flesh" and the counterfeits destroy it.

(1 Timothy 6:10)
The counterfeits add the words "kinds of".  This addition dilutes
the conclusive statement, "...the love of money is the root of all evil"
to the subjective "...the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil".

(2 Timothy 2:15)
The counterfeits remove the word "study".
The counterfeits do not want us to study our Bible.
We might just find out they are mutilating it.

(Revelation 1:5)
Many versions change the wonderful words "washed us from
our sins in his own blood," to "loosed" or "freed" us from
our sins.  This is the only verse in the Bible that says you
are washed in the blood – and the counterfeits destroy it.
What can wash away my sin?  Nothing but the blood of Jesus!
There are literally thousands of more examples, way too many to list here.
If you conduct a study of this on the internet only, you need to know
beforehand that some websites add Scriptures that are not found in
the original texts!  God Bless You as you seek His Truth in all things!

At any price, give me the Book of God!"
